Yellowstone River

Yellowstone River Chapter was organized on April 18, 1970, by Organizing Regent Carol Schleve.

The name was chosen for historic reasons as the Yellowstone River is a major tributary of the Missouri River. This Chapter overlaps the Montana-North Dakota border and is in a rural, sparsely-populated area. The Chapter contributes to community activities and its youth. Montana's only daughter of a Revolutionary War patriot (Real Daughter) Orpha Bovee, is buried in Dawson County Cemetery.

For information contact the Chapter Regent.
