Powder River Chapter
Powder River Chapter was organized on April 12, 1958, in Miles City, by Organizing Regent Gussie Henerson. This Chapter chose its name as a tribute to those early and late settlers who lost and won over the Powder River.
Three State Regents have come from this chapter. Lulu Ellis was recognized as Montana's Outstanding DAR VAVS member. She went on to winning the National Award. Powder River Chapter promotes the Flag of the USA.
